Compare, Varitronics® ProFinish™ Laminator Vs. Xyron's 2500 Laminator
(they're identical machines except
for just one inch!)
Don't be FOOLED! Xyron is the manufacturer
of Varitronics® ProFinish™ Laminator line. Varitronics
only puts
there name on it.
NOTE: Varitronics® raised the price of their double sided
laminate, 24" x 300', on February 1, 2005 from $199.99 to $239.99 a set. A
$40.00 jump!
That's $15.00 more than
our 25" x 300' roll sets for the Xyron 2500.Now, on August
1, 2006, they raiser their prices again. From $239.99 to
$249.99. Our
prices for our double sided laminate has stayed the
same.

There is a BIG difference
between the two or
why settle for a 24" wide laminator
when you could have a full 25"?
- They are the identical machine -
operation, no electricity, warm up, etc. - except the Xyron 2500 is
a full 25" wide, the
ProFinish™ only 24"!

- Varitronics ® Poster Printers use
a 23 3/8" roll leaving just 5/8" for any margin of
error. Would you rather work with 5/8"
or 1 5/8"?

- The ProFinish™ is manufactured
for Varitronics
® . Its 24" wide laminate is
proprietary. There is only one source for your laminate and
typically just one price. A very expensive one. Please
see the note above about their recent price increase.

- While the ProFinish™ machine
offers 5 different laminate types, Xyron 2500 offers 8 different
laminate choices.

- Most standard poster board is
24" wide or a bit over. The ProFinish™ laminate can't
fully seal it.
