Also great for businesses as well as graphic designers, digital preservation, photo organizers, scrapbookers, music scores, genealogy, maps, libraries, even home office users that needs to scan large format or A3 sized (11.7 x 16.5 in) graphics and documents. Included software provides a powerful tool to do so much like scanning and converting documents and images using OCR (Optical Recognition software) into Microsoft WORD documents, Excel, searchable PDF’s, JPG’s, TIFF and other formats.
Please Note: If using this scanner with the Education Pro Color Poster Maker by Epson, it will not interface with Epson’s “Scan To Print” software included with the printer. However, it will scan documents and convert them into Microsoft WORD docs, Excel spread sheets, pdf’s, jpg’s, tiff format, etc. All of which can be printed with the Education Pro in their own formats.
